Just a few little updates!

Twitter

First thing is first,I have recently created a twitter specifically for my art. That's right! I'm also offering free features as usual so just follow me on twitter and send me a message either there or here and I'll feature your work!

I'll also am going to do an "Artist Problems" project with trending Hashtags on my twitter. That means when there is a trending hashtag, for example #Icantstandwhen, I might post a tweet saying " #Icantstandwhen my acrylic paint dries before I'm done using it. #artistproblems" It'll be loads of fun and I'm sure a lot of you can relate.

Tumblr URL Change

I  decided to change my tumblr URL from theartofcosplay to Tacoroachart. I feel like it was weird that I had all of these social media accounts under Tacoroach Art but then my tumblr was theartofcosplay. No worries though! My tumblr will still feature cosplay stuff even though cosplay is out of the URL name.

I also recently changed the layout of my tumblr to match my Deviantart theme. If you haven't checked out my tumblr, I advise you do!I Especially, if you are an artist! I post a lot of different artist's work that I find around tumblr and also helpful tutorials that I stumble upon as well. Resources galore!!

And of course, if you send me a note or ask asking to be featured I can definitely do that! ;D

Contest

So, I promised a Contest to be held right after my giveaway ended and it still hasn't been  put up yet. Well, I'm still going to hold it, it's just things have been a little hectic lately(I got a job!!) so I haven't hammered out all the details. It'll be up soon though!! I promise!

Hello, Everyone! I haven't done a journal in a while mainly because I didn't have anything really worth announcing. Fear not! I do now.

Features

Alrighty. So, as some of you may know,(Most of you don't though. Ha) I have atumblrwhere I showcase all of my art and cosplay I also feature tutorials that I find helpful and art I am particularly fond of.

Lately, all I've been doing is going into tumblr's Art tag and finding stuff I like there. I thought it would be super cool to extend a hand out to my fellow deviants and showcase their work as well. So choose a handful of your best work and post the links down below and I may just feature you on my tumblr.

I was originally collecting points so I'd have enough when my subscription ran out. I totally was not expecting to be gifted another three months. With that being said, I've decided to host a Giveaway AND a contest with my extra points

Things for my Secret Valentine to draw:

This is Jack. So far he's my only original animal design. Jack often lurks in unvisited caves. He's very shy and his appearance seems to startle people and scare them away. They often just see his eyes in the dark and think he's a ghost and run away before even talking to Jack. Maybe a picture of him getting lots of valentines at the base of his cave would make him feel better?

This is a Leureep that I adopted named Silk. I haven't gotten around to drawing her again or creating a really defined personality but I imagine her to be very sweet and soft spoken. She doesn't speak human but instead makes a purr-like noise.

I also enjoy Pokemon. My favourites are Magikarp and Gyarados.
